We are looking for an experienced Enterprise Applications Manager to serve as a strategic technology partner to our Sales, Marketing, Finance, R&D, and Operations teams.
Position Summary
The Enterprise Applications Manager will own the administration, optimization, and evolution of our ERP platform, JD Edwards, Enterprise One, and other key back‑office systems driving process improvements, managing integrations, and leading projects that directly support Datacolor's global operations.
This is a high‑impact, cross‑functional role for someone who thrives at the intersection of business and technology. This is for someone who can translate complex requirements into scalable solutions and lead with both technical depth and collaborative energy.
The Team
Reporting to the Global Director of IT and Cybersecurity, this role is part of a globally distributed team, collaborating closely with colleagues across the world predominantly through virtual working models.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Configure, maintain, and enhance JD Edwards E1 to support evolving business needs, including workflows, data validation, and automation.
- Monitor new JD Edwards features to continuously improve system capabilities.
- Manage and support integrations between JD Edwards E1 and third‑party systems (e.g. Salesforce, SAP Concur, Vertex, e‑Invoicing platforms), including evaluation of new solutions and support of future ERP migration initiatives.
- Lead ERP‑related projects end to end, coordinating internal teams and external partners, gathering requirements, and managing priorities and timelines.
- Ensure quality, security, and compliance through testing, UAT, release management, and adherence to ISO 27001, TISAX, and audit requirements.
- Act as a subject matter expert, providing documentation, knowledge sharing, vendor coordination, and SLA management.
- Stay informed on broader ERP developments to contribute to long‑term IT strategy.
Experience & Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience administering enterprise‑level systems, including a minimum of 3 years as a JD Edwards E1 Administrator or Consultant is preferred.
- Proven track record leading ERP analysis, development, or systems teams.
- Experience managing cross‑functional technical projects from initiation through delivery.
- Familiarity with ERP integrations and third‑party platform connectivity.

- Knowledge and experience in using AI tools for personal productivity and analysis is a plus.
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Finance, Business, or a related field or equivalent professional experience.
- Graduate degree in Information Systems or related fields is a plus.
Language
- Fluency in English required; additional languages are a plus given our global footprint.
Location
This role is based in Italy (Reggio Emilia) and is a hybrid role in line with current company policy.
