Role Description

This is a part-time on-site role for an English Primary Teacher at Smiling International School, located in Ferrara. The teacher will be responsible for designing and implementing lesson plans, teaching English language and literature to primary school students, and fostering an engaging and inclusive classroom atmosphere. Additional responsibilities include assessing students’ progress, providing feedback to parents, and collaborating with colleagues to support curriculum development and deliver high-quality education.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Curriculum Development and Elementary Education.
• Strong Teaching skills, with the ability to create engaging and effective lesson plans.
• Excellent Communication and interpersonal skills to engage with students and collaborate with colleagues and parents.
• A professional background in Education, particularly with primary school-aged students.
• Fluency in English; additional proficiency in Italian, Spanish, or Chinese is an asset.
• Bachelor’s degree in Education, English Language Teaching, or a related field; teaching certification is a plus.
• Passion for fostering a positive learning environment and supporting children’s educational and personal development.
