We are looking for a Supply Chain Engineering Manager. The Supply Chain Engineering Manager is responsible for the design, optimization, and transformation of the end-to-end supply chain, with a specific focus on logistics network design, operational processes, and planning systems.
Logistics Footprint Design and Optimization:
Lead logistics network redesign projects (manufacturing plants, distribution hubs, regional warehouses)
Analyze make-or-buy decisions, centralization vs. End-to-End Supply Chain Optimization:
Improve material, information, and planning flows
Planning Systems Evolution:
Define and implement advanced planning models (Demand, Supply, Inventory)
Lead projects for the implementation or optimization of APS systems (e.g., SAP IBP, Kinaxis, or equivalent)
Ensure data quality and planning parameter governance
Develop quantitative models for: inventory optimization, network design, what-if simulations
Use data analytics tools to support strategic decision-making
Collaborate with IT and Data teams on digital and predictive solutions
Project Management and Transformation:
Lead global or multi-site supply chain transformation programs
Coordinate cross-functional teams (Operations, Procurement, IT, Finance, Sales)
Define and monitor key supply chain KPIs: Cost-to-serve, End-to-end lead time, Inventory (DOH, turns), Service level (OTIF)
Measure benefits generated by implemented projects
Degree in Management Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, or related field. Master’s degree/MBA or certifications (APICS, Lean Six Sigma) are considered a plus.
At least 7 years of experience in: Supply Chain Engineering, Network Design, Continuous Improvement / Operations Consulting.
Experience in network optimization and simulation tools (e.g., Advanced knowledge of end-to-end supply chain processes
Experience with ERP and APS systems (SAP, IBP, APO, or equivalent)
Strong analytical skills (advanced Excel, SQL, BI tools)
Leadership and ability to manage complex projects
Familiarity with global multi-tier supply chains
Experience with spare parts and service supply chains
Permanent full – time contract
