This role serves as the core technical & solution pillar for the company’s energy storage business expansion in Europe, focusing on the UK and Italian priority markets. You will be responsible for developing tailored, compliant energy storage solutions for utility-scale, C&I and residential scenarios, coordinating cross-functional resources to support pre-sales bidding, project negotiation and solution landing, deeply grasping European energy policies, grid access standards and market dynamics, and boosting the competitiveness of the company’s energy storage solutions to drive project signing and regional business growth. The position is open to all nationalities but requires proficient bilingual skills in Chinese and English to support cross-regional collaboration.

Key Responsibilities

  • Market & Demand Insight : Conduct in-depth research on European energy storage policies, EU grid codes, local grid access norms and market competition landscape; sort out customer pain points and project demands in key markets (UK, Italy, etc.), provide data support for solution optimization and business strategy formulation, and keep pace with local industry technical trends.
  • Customized Solution Design : Develop integrated energy storage solutions covering battery systems, PCS, BMS, EMS and supporting facilities based on customer project needs; optimize technical parameters, cost structure and implementation paths, ensure solutions comply with European safety standards, grid access regulations and cost-effectiveness requirements, and enhance solution feasibility and competitiveness.
  • Pre-sales & Customer Support : Cooperate closely with the European sales team to participate in customer communication, technical negotiations, bidding docking and project promotion; prepare professional solution proposals, technical documents, bidding materials and cost analysis reports; respond to customer technical inquiries, resolve solution-related doubts, and improve project win rate and customer satisfaction.
  • Cross-departmental Collaboration : Liaise with R&D, production, delivery, legal and compliance teams to promote solution iteration, European market product adaptation and smooth progress of mid-project links; coordinate resource allocation to solve technical bottlenecks and implementation issues in the solution process, and ensure seamless connection between pre-sales and delivery.
  • Project Feasibility & Risk Control : Conduct comprehensive feasibility assessment for energy storage projects, analyze technical, policy and cost risks; formulate targeted risk prevention and control plans, reduce project delivery risks, and ensure the rationality and implementability of solutions.
  • Industry & Brand Promotion : Participate in European energy storage industry exhibitions, seminars and technical exchange activities; display the company’s core solution advantages, expand industry resources, and enhance the brand influence of the company in the European energy storage market.

Job Requirements

  • Education & Experience : Bachelor’s degree or above in Electrical Engineering, Energy Storage, New Energy, Power System or related majors; minimum 5 years of working experience in energy storage solution design, with solid experience in European energy storage market projects (UK/Italian market experience is preferred).
  • Professional Competence : Profound knowledge of European energy storage policies, grid access standards and technical specifications; proficient in energy storage system design, equipment matching and solution optimization; familiar with the whole process of energy storage project pre-sales and solution landing.
  • Language Skills : Proficient in both Chinese and English (listening, speaking, reading and writing), capable of efficient cross-language communication and document preparation; other European languages are a strong plus.
  • Soft Skills : Excellent customer communication, negotiation and cross-departmental coordination skills; strong logical thinking, problem-solving ability and pressure resistance; result-oriented, with high sense of responsibility and team awareness.
  • Others : Willing to travel frequently in European key markets; familiar with energy storage industry bidding processes and related technical documentation preparation is preferred.
