The Middle Office & Market Scenario team acts as the strategic and analytical hub of Nadara’s Energy Markets. It delivers the company’s market vision, shaping price scenarios and valuation standards that guide trading, portfolio optimisation and long‑term planning.
The team combines advanced analytics, scenario modelling and market intelligence to assess revenues, risks and opportunities across assets – supporting hedging strategy, commercial structuring and strategic decision‑making. It ensures clarity, consistency and high-quality insight across energy markets and all other areas of the company through strong data governance and innovative tools.
The Middle Office & Market Scenario team is seeking an Energy Market Modelling Intern to support activities related to quantitative analysis, market intelligence and data processing. The role offers exposure to energy markets, modelling approaches and analytical tools used across the business.
Job Description
Key Responsibilities

  • Support the development, update and calibration of power market models across different time horizons.
  • Contribute to the collection, cleaning and validation of datasets, ensuring accuracy and consistency for forecasts and scenario analyses.
  • Assist in the enhancement of analytical tools and dashboards (e.g., Power BI), and in the improvement of data workflows and pipelines.
  • Support scenario generation, revenue simulations and valuation exercises used for hedging strategies, asset assessments and planning activities.
Key Requirements
  • Enrollment in (or recent completion of) a Master’s degree in Economics, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, Data Science or a related quantitative field.
  • Strong analytical mindset and interest in energy markets and the energy transition.
  • Basic to intermediate knowledge of Python (essential) and willingness to further develop technical skills through practical work.
  • Nice to have: familiarity with databases, Power BI / DAX, or similar analytical tools.
  • Bonus: exposure to Azure WebApp or data‑pipelining concepts.
  • Fluent in English, proactive and collaborative, with willingness and predisposition to work in team within an international, multi‑competence environment.
