Energy Efficiency Project Manager – Milan
An established international energy platform, currently scaling its European operations, is looking to hire an Energy Efficiency Project Manager in Italy. This hire is driven by a strong upcoming project pipeline, with an increasing focus on electrification and automation.
The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering energy efficiency projects across industrial, logistics, and commercial sites — from initial audits and technical design through to implementation and performance monitoring.
Key Responsibilities
- End-to-end delivery of EE projects across HVAC, heating/cooling, compressed air, and refrigeration systems
- Management of contractors, suppliers, and site execution activities
- Ownership of project timelines, budgets, and technical performance
- Coordination with HSE, site teams, and internal technical stakeholders
- Conducting energy audits and identifying optimisation and savings opportunities
- Supporting project development including basic engineering and budgeting
Requirements
- ~4+ years’ experience in EPC / construction project management (energy efficiency or industrial projects)
- Experience across industrial utilities and HVAC systems
- Technical background (energy, electrical, or similar)
- Strong understanding of energy efficiency measures and implementation
- Familiarity with Italian incentive schemes (TEE / Conto Termico) is advantageous
- EGE certification is a plus
