Energy Efficiency Project Manager
Leap29 are seeking an Energy Efficiency Project Manager to join the team in Milan .
The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering energy efficiency projects across industrial, logistics, and commercial sites - from initial audits and technical design to implementation and performance monitoring.
My client is a prominent player in the energy transition, dedicated to driving sustainable solutions across Europe and globally. They specialise in innovative renewable energy projects, with a strong focus on C&I and energy efficiency initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct energy audits across a variety of sites, including commercial buildings, logistics facilities, and industrial operations.
- Analyse site energy profiles and identify opportunities for efficiency improvements.
- Develop action plans and design energy-saving projects, including basic engineering, budgeting, and ROI analysis.
- Manage service provider selection, evaluate proposals, negotiate commercial terms, and oversee contracts and purchase orders.
- Supervise project implementation, coordinate with technical teams and site management, ensure quality delivery, and verify performance targets are achieved.
- Support the development of internal procedures, tools, and best practices in collaboration with other team members.
- Attend regular meetings with clients and external partners.
Requirements:
- Degree in Engineering or related technical field.
- 3–4 years of experience managing energy efficiency projects, ideally within engineering, energy services, or installation companies.
- Strong understanding of key efficiency measures across energy systems (HVAC, steam, cooling, lighting, etc.).
- Knowledge of relevant energy efficiency regulations and incentive schemes (e.g. White Certificates, Conto Termico).
- A blend of technical and on-site project experience is highly desirable.
