NTU International A/S is leading a consortium for the implementation of the EIB funded project called: Transformation of the Karlovy Vary Region 2026+ and is searching for experts to support the core team during the implementation of this project.


The overall objective of this assignment is for a consultant (the “Service Provider”) to carry out a Study on Karlovy Vary region’s economic opportunities and challenges for the transition to a green economy and energy system (the “Project”).


Location : Karlovy Vary Region, Czech Republic.

Duration : The intended start date is October 2025 and the services shall be provided for a period of 9 months from this date.


Key Expert: Energy economist (Cat. II)


☝️ Qualifications and skills:

  • At least bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Business Administration, Finance or Economics (minimum requirement ).
  • Fluency in written and spoken English is required (CEFR C1) (minimum requirement ).
  • Fluency in written and spoken Czech will be considered as an asset .
  • Computer literacy (e.g., Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and MS Teams), proven proficiency in using Excel.


☝️ General professional experience:

  • Minimum of 10-years of relevant professional experience in financial and economic assessment of the clean energy investment projects (minimum requirement ).


☝️ Specific professional experience:

  • At least 7-years’ experience in financial and economic assessment of clean energy generation projects and proven by at least 5 projects (minimum requirement ).
  • Proven experience in clean energy project financing will be considered an asset .
  • Experience working in Czechia will be considered as an asset .
  • International experience will be considered as an asset .
