The Role
We are seeking a talented and motivated Energy Associate to join our highly respected Italian Energy and Infrastructure team in the Rome office. This is an exceptional opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a top-tier international law firm. You will work closely with senior partners and associates on complex domestic and cross-border transactions in the energy sector, providing critical support on a wide range of legal matters.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in drafting and reviewing legal documents related to energy projects, and financing documents.
- Conduct legal research and analysis on energy and regulatory matters, including renewable energy incentives, environmental regulations, and grid connection rules.
- Support due diligence processes for energy projects by reviewing and summarizing key legal documents and identifying potential risks.
- Manage and organize transaction-related documents.
- Collaborate effectively with clients and colleagues to ensure smooth and efficient project execution.
- Assist with the preparation of presentations and reports for internal and external stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Law degree (Laurea Magistrale in Giurisprudenza ) from an accredited Italian university.
- Admitted to the Italian Bar (Albo degli Avvocati ) or eligible to apply.
- Strong academic record with excellent legal research and writing skills.
- A solid understanding of Italian administrative law and a keen interest in the energy sector.
- Fluency in both Italian and English is required , with strong verbal and written communication skills in both languages.
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, demanding environment.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to professional excellence.
