Overview
The Baker Hughes Internship is designed to enable students pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree or recently graduated to gain hands-on work experience as the foundation of their professional lives. Internships provide first-hand insights into processes, systems, and practices aligned to ensure customer needs are met through execution and technology.
Responsibilities
- Completing internal projects to deliver customer outcomes and identify business improvements
- Learning internal software to assist with the completion of projects and tasks
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams and interns to interact and network with global business leaders
- Applying Health, Safety, and Environment (HS&E) standards and procedures in all situations to ensure compliance
Qualifications
- Be currently enrolled or recently graduated in a Bachelor’s or Master’s level degree in Mechanical and other Engineering Related Degree
- Have maintained a GPA greater than or equal to 3.0 on a 4.0 scale or the equivalent in your country
- Be fluent in oral and written English with effective communication skills
- Be able to legally work in the country where you are applying without company sponsorship or time restriction
Additional Information
During the internship, you will be supported by a buddy and your manager who will provide coaching and mentoring to enable you to complete assignments and projects. You will also become familiar with Health, Safety, and Environment (HS&E) culture and Baker Hughes's commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
