We’re looking for a Skilled Embedded Software Engineer (4+ years) to join our team in Vigonza (near Padua) and contribute to the development of next‑generation biomedical devices. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in real‑time environments, enjoys close collaboration with cross‑functional teams, and wants to work on technology that directly impacts patient safety and healthcare innovation.
⭐ What You’ll Work On
- Developing and maintaining embedded software for advanced biomedical devices
- Designing and implementing real‑time components using C++ and (optionally) Erlang
- Integrating software with hardware platforms and supporting testing & validation activities
- Collaborating closely with R&D, Production, QA, and Regulatory Affairs teams
- Investigating and resolving issues related to system reliability and performance
What You Bring
- Strong expertise in C++ for embedded systems
- Experience with real‑time systems and embedded architectures
- Familiarity with debugging on embedded targets and using dedicated development tools
- Knowledge of Erlang (concurrency, distributed systems, fault tolerance) is a plus
- Understanding of biomedical standards (e.g., IEC 62304) is a plus
- Proficiency in Italian and English
Location & Work Setup
- Onsite in Vigonza, Italy
- Initial onsite presence: 5 days/week
- Once fully operational: 3 days/week onsite
- No personal PC required
