Position


We are currently looking for a skilled Embedded Software Engineer to join our Electronics Department , located in Asolo. In this role, you will be able to elevate our products to a new level by delivering and maintaining embedded software for our electronic products, working cross-functionally within the team and ensuring compliance with our high standards of performance and quality.


Main Responsibilities


  • Working closely with our hardware engineers, so to define the software requirements and specifications, you will then be responsible for the development and maintenance of firmware for our Tech Air products.
  • You will not only make sure to build scalable, robust and secure firmware solutions, but you will also perform code reviews and software testing activities, so to ensure the desired level of functionality and performance.
  • Moreover, you will also be in charge of debugging activities and to solve any potential software related issue in a timely manner.
  • You will also contribute to the continuous improvement of our software development process, as well as supporting in delivering firmware related technical documentation.
  • You will also keep yourself up-to-date with the latest technologies and industry trends within the embedded software sphere.


Requirements


  • Bachelor’s and / or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering and / or in other relevant fields.
  • A minimum of 5+ years’ experience in firmware development using C language within embedded systems.
  • Proven working experience and knowledge on the STM32 microcontroller family, STM32 IDEs, as well as of its structure and memory organisation.
  • Experience with Real-Team operating systems for embedded firmware (i.e. RTOS).
  • Knowledge of sensors, related software and hardware, as well as of main communication protocols (I2C, SPI, CAN Bus, UART and USB).
  • Previous working knowledge of Electronics related testing equipment such as oscilloscope will also be a must-have.
  • Basic Cybersecurity best practices knowledge.
  • Strong communication skills, proactive attitude and excellent cross-functional collaboration expertise and attitude will also be a must-have.
  • Fluency in English will be a must-have.
  • Availability to travel (occasionally).
