Embedded Linux / PetaLinux Engineer (FPGA Platforms)
We are looking for an experienced Embedded Software Engineer to support custom hardware platforms based on AMD Zynq UltraScale+ RFSoC devices. The role focuses on board bring-up, PetaLinux integration, and mapping FPGA hardware into embedded Linux systems.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain custom PetaLinux / Yocto images
- Bring up new boards and FPGA hardware designs
- Map hardware interfaces into Linux
- Refactor and extend internal PetaLinux frameworks
Requirements
- Strong experience with PetaLinux / Yocto
- Embedded Linux background
- Experience with Zynq / RFSoC and FPGA-based systems
- Comfortable working close to hardware during integration
Work Arrangement
Remote work is possible for much of the development, but on-site presence in Milan is preferred during hardware testing phases due to the use of custom prototype boards.
