Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role located in Turin for an Embedded FW/SW Engineer. The role involves the development, implementation, and optimization of embedded firmware and software solutions for inverter, BMS and other electric powertrain key components. Responsibilities include programming, debugging, and testing embedded systems, collaborating with cross-functional teams to design and implement tailored software solutions, and contributing to system integration and validation efforts. The role requires applying advanced programming skills and a deep understanding of software development best practices considering the whole ASPICE V diagram. The FW and SW are developed in C programming language.


Requested skills/qualifications

  • Expertise in Embedded FW/SW development and real-time programming
  • Strong skills in C language programming
  • Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills
  • Expertise in SW architecture definition
  • Bachelor's or master’s degree in Computer Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or related field
  • Ability to work effectively in an on-site, team-oriented environment
  • Knowledge of automotive systems, including communication protocols
  • Previous experience: at least 2 years of real experience as embedded FW/SW developer
  • English communication skills


Candidate desirable skills

  • Ability to use electronic instrument for measures and signal analysis
  • Ability to use SW tools for electronic design/validation
  • Experience in product development having functional safety requirements (ISO 26262)
  • Experience in product development having cyber security requirements (ISO 21434)
  • Experience in product development having real time requirements
  • Experience in embedded FW-SW development
  • Experience with Infineon Aurix, TI C2000
