As an electrician or mechatronics technician, you are the backbone of this production. When machines stop, you bring them back to life. Your work directly affects how many vehicles leave the factory – and therefore how quickly we, together, reach a cleaner future.
Important – Relocation required:
This position is based on-site at our Gigafactory in Grünheide, near Berlin, Germany. Relocation to the Berlin / Grünheide area is a requirement for this role. To make your move as smooth as possible, Tesla offers a partial financial relocation allowance as well as practical support with the organisation of your move.

COMPENSATION & PROTECTION
30 paid vacation days per year, in addition to public holidays
Company pension scheme: Tesla contributes 4% of your base salary, your own contribution is only 2%

Accidental death and disability insurance: lump-sum payout of up to two annual salaries, premium paid by Tesla

Your responsibilities
Diagnosing and resolving faults on complex, fully automated production machinery – quickly, precisely, reliably
Carrying out repair, maintenance, servicing, and conversion work according to plan and to the highest quality standards
Actively contributing to a forward-looking maintenance strategy for designated machine fleets
Carefully documenting all measures – from fault reporting to completed repair
Close collaboration with other teams on cross-site maintenance projects
Consistently complying with all safety standards and accident prevention regulations
What you bring
Completed vocational training as an electrician / electronics technician or mechatronics technician (m/f/d), completed in Germany or officially recognized
Passion for technology – and the drive to get things running
Experience in maintaining automated production equipment is a plus, but not a must
Solid knowledge of drive technology, electronics, and pneumatics
Willingness to work shifts in a fully continuous shift model
Strong communication skills and genuine team spirit
Good German and/or English skills, spoken and written
