About the Role

We are looking for a skilled Electronics Assembly & Calibration Specialist to join our team.

You will handle precise assembly of electronic boards and sensor devices, perform maintenance on returned components, and ensure products are calibrated and tested before shipment.


Key Responsibilities

  • Assembly: Solder through‑hole and SMD components manually, including rework, following company quality standards. Assemble boards and wiring according to BOMs and work instructions.
  • Maintenance & Repair: Diagnose and repair returned boards or assemblies, replace defective components, and restore functionality. Collaborate with R&D for firmware or component updates.
  • Calibration & Testing: Perform calibration procedures on sensors and devices. Prepare test reports and maintain activity traceability.
  • Operational Support: Maintain soldering stations, measuring instruments, and lab equipment. Work with the warehouse to manage component stock efficiently.


What We’re Looking For

Technical Skills:

  • Hands-on experience with manual soldering of through‑hole and SMD components (IPC‑A‑610 or equivalent).
  • Strong knowledge of analog and digital electronics, troubleshooting, and reading schematics and BOMs.
  • Familiarity with soldering/rework stations, microscopes, multimeters, and oscilloscopes.
  • Basic programming skills in C/C++.

  • Team player, collaborating effectively with R&D and Production.


Requirements:

  • On-site work in Arenzano (GE), Italy.
  • Diploma or degree in Electronics, or equivalent experience.
  • Up-to-date tetanus vaccination.
  • English proficiency – minimum B2.
  • Experience with IoT and calibration/testing procedures is a plus.
