Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronic Engineering, Aerospace Engineering or a related field.
- Experience in testing electronic equipment or embedded systems (preferably in aerospace, defence or high‑reliability industries).
- Knowledge of electronic measurement instruments and laboratory equipment.
- Ability to read electrical schematics and technical documentation.
- Experience with test procedures, troubleshooting and anomaly investigation.
- Experience with automated test systems or scripting (e.g., Python, LabVIEW).
- Can process test results within an analytical environment (spreadsheet, database, dedicated post‑processing scripts or software) and support analysis of data trends and uncertainties.
- Familiarity with AIT processes for aerospace hardware is a strong advantage.
- Good written and spoken English.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with space‑qualified electronics or satellite subsystems.
- Knowledge of environmental testing (thermal vacuum, vibration, EMC/EMI).
- Knowledge of TSC/TCL scripting language.
- Familiarity with space standards (ECSS), especially ECSS‑E‑ST‑10 series (-02, -03).
- Previous work in cleanroom environments (ISO 8 / ISO 5).
Responsibilities
- Perform functional, electrical and environmental tests on electronic units for space applications.
- Execute test procedures and test campaigns (including environmental ones) according to project documentation and standards.
- Operate electronic test equipment and laboratory instrumentation (oscilloscopes, power supplies, spectrum analyzers, multimeters, etc.).
- Support integration activities of electronic units into subsystems or spacecraft platforms.
- Analyze and document test results, identifying anomalies and preparing Non‑Conformance Reports as required and supporting root‑cause analysis.
- Prepare and maintain test procedures, reports and related technical documentation.
- Work within cleanroom environments when required for space hardware testing.
- Collaborate with design and system engineers to resolve technical issues detected during the test phase.
- Ensure compliance with space industry standards, quality requirements and safety procedures.
- Support qualification and acceptance test campaigns.
