The company headquarters is located in Bolzano, Northern Italy, at the plant formerly owned by Lancia, a renowned manufacturer of industrial vehicles founded in 1937.

IDV is an independent internal structure entirely dedicated to research and development, with full access to the company’s extensive engineering resources.

General objective of the position

Responsible of translate high-level requirements of trucks into detailed technical systems specifications

Main assignments and tasks

- Manage the Level 3 Electronic Planning for assigned projects.

- Define System Requirement

- Define/Verify the electrical compatibility between electronic components

- Define System Specification and Electronic system architecture that satisfied the project QCD

- Define system diagnosis (DTC/Recovery/reaction,...)

- Define all interfaces Input/output of the system

- Define different network messages for the system

- Participate to identify the root cause for anomalies

- Define functional algorithm and functions to be implemented

- Continuously benchmarking the developments against competition

- Define the roadmaps of the systems

- Provide regular and timely reporting of the status of the projects to the different stakeholders (interaction with project manager / product specialists / ...)

- Communication window with the supplier and related departments of the parts in charge

- Support for product documentation ( QA Charts, User Manual etc )

- Support the documents requested by the EE manager each time.

Compétences techniques / Technical skills

- Knowledge in Electronic domain, Hardware, Electronic Manufacturing Engineering

- Knowledge in control software integration and data communication (LIN, CAN protocols)

- Knowledge in Matlab/Simulink/CANalyzer

- Knowledge in V Cycle

- English
