Randstad Italia Inhouse Division is recruiting SMD PROCESS ENGINEERING for a leader company operating in the electroni field

We offer fixed term contract

Ral 28-30K

He/she will have responsibility for responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing SMD production processes for PCBA (Printed Circuit Board Assemblies).

In addition, he/she will:

  • Manage cross-products planning with the target to respect time and cost constraints
  • Manage project documentation and provide updated KPI
  • Identify key risks (timing, safety, technologies) and deploy related contingency plans

Qualifications

  • Engineering graduate in the field of electronic and/or Manufacturing Engineering

Key responsibilities

  • Process Strategy Development : Develop and maintain SMD production strategies (solder paste printing, pick & place, reflow profiles) based on technical specifications and Design for Manufacturing (DfM) principles.
  • Performance Tracking : Manage project documentation and provide updated Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) regarding production efficiency and quality.
  • Process Optimization : Analyze production data to identify defect patterns, reduce solder-related issues, and optimize cycle times.
  • Standardization : Create standard operating procedures (SOPs), maintenance schedules, and technical manuals for production operators

Requirements

  • Experience : Proven experience in SMD process engineering within an electronic manufacturing environment (EMS or OEM).
  • Process Proficiency : Expertise in SMT lines (SPI, Pick & Place, Reflow, AOI/AXI inspection).
  • Technical Skills : Ability to read complex electrical schematics, understand material science (solder paste, flux), and manage communication protocols relevant to manufacturing equipment.
  • Methodologies : Deep familiarity with IPC standards (e.g., IPC-A-610) and Lean Manufacturing principles applied to Quality Control.
  • Nice to have: Specific knowledge and hands‑on experience with Fuji SMT platforms (Pick & Place machines and related software ecosystem).
  • Capability of working towards tight deadlines.
  • Ability to work in a team with proved problem‑solving skills.
