Electronic Verification Engineer
ROLE
Location - Milan, Italy
Work pattern - 5 days a week Hybrid
Start date - January
Duration - 6 months
Rate - 280 euros / day
Responsibilities
- Working on electronic design for Digital Cards from scratch.
- PCB design work - Schematic Design
- United Verification Mythology
- Debugging and troubleshooting EMC/EMI issues
- Working on the design of a 800V 60A Power Supply
- Use of test equipment (e.g. oscilloscopes, function generators) to carry out laboratory tests on prototypes, PCBAs, and devices
- Use of soldering stations for prototyping and PCBA rework
- Work involving PCB/PCBA fabrication and assembly processes (SMT, wave/selective, THT, THR) and automatic verification/testing (ICT, AOI, FCT)
Key Requirements
- Master's Degree in Electronic Engineering or similar technical fields
- Professional experience in the design and verification of electronic devices
- Proficiency in eCAD software (preferably Altium Designer)
- Consolidated knowledge of power electronics, analog circuits, and AC/DC and DC/DC converters
- Knowledge of EMC/EMI topics and experience troubleshooting EMC/EMI issues
- Experience in circuit simulation (PSpice, LTSpice, SIMetrix or Altium Designer)
- Proficiency in using test equipment for laboratory testing
- Experience using soldering stations for prototyping and PCBA rework
- Knowledge of PCB/PCBA fabrication and assembly processes and testing methods; basic knowledge of IPC guidelines is a plus
- Basic knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodology is a plus
- Teamwork-oriented with excellent communication skills
- Proactive, reliable, solution-focused, with strong problem-solving skills
- Fluency in English (written and spoken); fluency in Italian is a plus
