EYE4NIR is on the lookout for a skilled and motivated Electronics Engineer with expertise in discrete components, mixed-signal electronic design and system engineering to join our team. At the forefront of advanced imaging technology, backed by venture capital and recipient of the EIC Accelerator Award, we are pushing the boundaries of visible and short-wave infrared (SWIR) imaging and sensing to transform industries such as automotive, healthcare, and industrial automation.


In this role, you will be responsible in the design, development, and optimization of the electronic systems that integrate our technology into real-life scenarios. You will collaborate with a talented team to integrate hardware solutions that advance our product capabilities and contribute to the success of next-generation technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop high-performance electronic systems for sensing and imaging.
  • Design and develop mixed-signal PCB layouts.
  • Conduct signal integrity analysis and resolve related issues in PCB designs.
  • Development of µC firmware for sensor control and data acquisition.
  • Work on system-level integration of electronic components and subsystems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure product performance, reliability, and manufacturability.
  • Develop system specifications and test plans to validate designs.


Required Skills:

  • Strong electronics background, including the ability to design complex, mixed-signal circuits.
  • Strong background in system engineering, including the integration of complex electronic systems.
  • Proven experience in PCB design and layout, including high-speed circuit design.
  • Expertise in using PCB design tools (e.g., Altium Designer, Cadence, or similar).
  • Experience in analog and digital circuit design and troubleshooting.
  • Strong understanding of signal integrity, power distribution, and grounding techniques.
  • Familiarity with microcontrollers
  • Experience with system testing, debugging, and optimization.
  • Proficiency in hardware development tools and simulation software.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a collaborative environment.
