Role Overview: We are seeking a talented EDA Software Engineer to join our R&D team. In this role, you will develop intuitive, user-friendly software that integrates seamlessly with existing EDA systems. Your work will enhance design methodologies, accelerate visualization of results, streamline process control, and automate workflows. Python will be your primary development tool, complemented by existing software platforms and APIs.
Key Responsibilities
- Research, design, implement, and manage software programs
- Deploy software tools, processes, and performance metrics
- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code
- Collaborate closely with developers, engineers, and cross-functional teams
- Test, validate, and evaluate software solutions to ensure reliability and scalability
Qualifications
- Education:
- M.S. in Computer Science or Computer Engineering (preferred), or
- B.S. in Computer Science or Computer Engineering with strong programming focus
- Technical Skills:
- Excellent Python programming skills
- Experience in software product development (preferred)
- Proven expertise across the full software development lifecycle: requirements, design, prototyping, coding, documentation, implementation, and maintenance
- Strong proficiency with version control systems (GIT)
- Solid understanding of algorithms and data structures
- Additional Skills:
- Good knowledge of electromagnetics or physics
- Excellent communication skills (English required)
- Strong teamwork and collaboration abilities
- Self-motivated, proactive, independent, and detail-oriented
