Electrification Lead Litigation Senior Counsel, EMEA and APAC

Experteer Overview

In this role you lead complex litigation across EMEA and APAC, guiding dispute strategy and risk management for the Electrification business. You will work closely with in-house teams and external counsel to align litigation with business goals, improve prevention and early resolution, and drive a global strategy and governance for legal risk. The position offers cross-regional impact, leadership of a Legal & Integrity function, and opportunities to shape dispute handling through technology and process improvements.

• Oversee regional litigation portfolio in EMEA and APAC and coordinate with internal teams and outside counsel
• Conduct early risk assessments and develop strategies aligned with business objectives
• Enhance litigation management framework focusing on prevention, early resolution, and use of technology
• Select and oversee outside counsel, manage budgets for transparency and efficiency
• Guide team members on dispute and claims management practices and foster continuous improvement
• Support government investigations and coordinate with stakeholders on strategic response
• Provide updates to Global Head of Litigation and regional management on risks and statuses
• Build strong relationships with business leaders and legal colleagues to align litigation with organizational goals

Responsabilità

• 10+ years PQE in complex litigation, preferably in heavy industry or infrastructure sectors with experience in high-stakes disputes
• Juris Doctor (JD) or Master of Laws (LLM); admitted in civil or common law jurisdictions
• Prior private practice and/or multinational in-house litigation management experience; first chair trial responsibility
• Experience in managing law firm and/or in-house teams and external counsel
• Strong executive presence with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Autonomous, ethical, solution-oriented with strategic thinking and stakeholder management
• Proficiency in English
