Electrical Supervisor

Important: This is a freelance position. Candidates must have the legal right to work as a freelancer in the EU (e.g., hold an EU passport or equivalent authorization).

Location: Mexico / Malaysia

Start Date: 15 January

Contract Length: 9 months

Role Purpose:

Responsible for overseeing all electrical installation activities during the erection of the EAF, ensuring compliance with safety standards, project timelines, and technical specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise the installation of electrical systems, including power distribution, control panels, instrumentation, and cabling for the EAF.
• Coordinate with project engineers and contractors to ensure proper integration of electrical components.
• Verify compliance with electrical codes, safety regulations, and manufacturer guidelines.
• Conduct inspections and testing of electrical systems before commissioning.
• Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues during installation.
• Maintain accurate documentation of electrical work, including as-built drawings and test reports.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Degree or certification in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Proven experience in industrial electrical installations, preferably in steel or heavy manufacturing environments.
• Strong knowledge of electrical safety standards and PLC systems.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical drawings.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
