Job Description
Total Electric is a leading electrical and construction contractor serving commercial, industrial, and residential projects. With active projects across Southwest Florida, we are known for delivering high-quality work with a focus on safety.
We are seeking a proactive and experienced Project Manager to lead electrical and construction projects. This role requires a collaborative leader who works closely with field personnel, estimators, and operations management to ensure successful project execution from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee all phases of construction and electrical projects
- Coordinate daily with project foremen, superintendents, and field crews to ensure work is progressing safely and on schedule
- Collaborate with the estimating team on bids, budgets, and project planning
- Partner with operations management to align project goals with company strategy and resources
- Monitor costs, schedules, materials, and labor for efficiency and profitability
- Manage client communications, job meetings, and project updates
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, codes, and regulations
- Handle all required project documentation including RFIs, submittals, change orders, and closeouts
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of project management experience in electrical contracting
- Strong background in large-scale commercial projects
- Effective communicator and team leader with experience managing foremen and field teams
- Proficient in construction management software and scheduling tools
- Experience working with estimating and operations departments
- Willingness to travel to project sites throughout Southwest Florida
- OSHA 30 Certification
