Role Overview

an Electrical Engineer you will play a central role in transforming ideas into real products that meet customer expectations for performance, safety, quality, and cost. You lead technical development across the product lifecycle — from design solutions to testing, validation, and production readiness. This role is practical, collaborative, and impactful, with opportunities to influence product decisions and work directly with customers and suppliers.

Core Responsibilities

  • Lead technical development of electrical components (mainly wire‑harness)
  • Translate customer specifications into reliable and compliant solutions
  • Coordinate with design, quality, and manufacturing teams
  • Support testing, analysis, and design reviews
  • Manage engineering changes and technical documentation
  • Work with suppliers and customer to ensure product and process readinessli>
  • Participate in continuous improvement activities

What You’ll Bring

  • Technical degree and background in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, or Automotive Engineering
  • At least 3 years of professional experience in the automotive industry
  • Ability to read technical drawings such as wiring diagrams, system or dimensional drawings
  • Ability to build wire harness prototypes
  • Experience with vehicle bus systems like CAN & LIN
  • Knowledge of Product Life Cycle and DFMEA, PFMEA, DFA/DFM; proficiency in MS Office, PLM, CAD software
  • Good command of English, fluent Italian
  • High motivation, flexibility, goal orientation, and reliability
  • Effective cross‑functional team work; analytical, structured, independent working style
  • Hands‑on approach and ability to manage multi‑stakeholder activities
  • Strong analytical mindset, problem solving, and organization skills
  • Confidence working with technical specifications and test data
  • Availability to travel
