Role Overview:
Our client, a global leader in energy and telecom cable systems, is seeking a detail-oriented Electrical Inspector to support inspection and testing activities focused on onshore high-voltage (HV) cables and monitoring system hardware . This ad hoc role is ideal for professionals with hands-on experience in HV cable systems and electrical monitoring technologies, looking to contribute to innovative infrastructure projects in a flexible capacity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct inspections and testing of onshore HV cable systems and associated hardware.
- Evaluate and verify the performance of monitoring system hardware used in cable installations.
- Review technical documentation, schematics, and test reports.
- Collaborate with engineering and site teams to identify and resolve electrical issues.
- Ensure compliance with client’s quality standards and relevant safety regulations.
- Maintain accurate records of inspections and provide detailed reports to stakeholders.
Essential Requirements:
- Proven experience with onshore HV cables and electrical inspection.
- Technical knowledge of monitoring system hardware and its integration with HV systems.
- Familiarity with European electrical standards and safety protocols.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and adapt to an ad hoc schedule.
- Fluent in English; Italian language skills are a plus.
