With group turnover exceeding 1.5bn and a secured project pipeline for the next three years, they continue to deliver large-scale, mission-critical developments across key European locations. Due to ongoing expansion, an opportunity has arisen for an experienced Electrical Engineer to join the project delivery team on a major data centre development in Milan, Italy. The Electrical Engineer will support the delivery of complex electrical systems on a large-scale data centre project, ensuring works are executed safely, in line with programme, and to the highest quality standards.Key Responsibilities •

Support the installation, inspection, testing, and commissioning of LV and MV electrical systems. •

Review and coordinate electrical drawings, specifications, and technical submittals. •

Work closely with CSA and MEP teams to ensure seamless integration of electrical systems. •

Monitor site progress and track works against programme milestones. •

Manage and coordinate subcontractor activities, ensuring productivity and quality targets are achieved. •

Assist with procurement activities, including technical evaluations and material approvals. •

Participate in inspections, walk-downs, snagging, and system handovers. •

Ensure compliance with project specifications, Italian regulations, and relevant industry standards. •

Maintain accurate documentation including test records, commissioning reports, and as-built information. •

Promote and enforce Health & Safety best practice across all electrical works on site.Requirements •

Degree or trade qualification in Electrical Engineering or related discipline. •

Minimum of 3–5 years’ experience delivering electrical works on large-scale construction projects. •

Previous experience on data centre, pharmaceutical, or other mission-critical projects is highly desirable. •

Strong understanding of LV/MV systems, switchgear, transformers, UPS systems, generators, and testing & commissioning processes. •

Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications. •

Proven experience coordinating subcontractors and managing works in line with programme. •

Strong communication and organisational skills. •

Proficient in Microsoft Office and construction management platforms.In Return, Our Client Offers •
