Randstad Italia SpA, on behalf of one of the most important partners in the Telco industry, is seeking a Electric Vehicles Service Specialist to join the technical team.

Job location: Milan or Rome

Contract : 1 year outsourcing contract powered by Randstad

Responsibilities

Strategic Support & Compliance

  • Market Alignment: Adapt service models to meet the specific technical and legal requirements of the Italian electric mobility market.
  • Customer Insights: Gather user feedback to refine support strategies and infrastructure performance.
  • Knowledge Transfer: Lead workshops and create instructional materials to certify third‑party installers.
  • Quality Assurance: Oversee the safe setup of AC/DC charging stations to ensure they meet high‑reliability standards from day one.

Technical Troubleshooting & Repair

  • Multi‑channel Support: Resolve complex failures through both remote diagnostics and on‑site visits.
  • Root Cause Analysis: Diagnose issues within charging piles, power modules, and PV inverters to minimize station downtime.

Lifecycle & Hardware Management

  • Component Replacement: Manage the end‑to‑end process of swapping faulty hardware (disassembly, installation, and validation).
  • Quality Control (RMA): Direct the return of defective parts for factory analysis to improve future product quality.

Proactive System Maintenance

  • Data‑Driven Health Checks: Monitor system logs and alarm history to identify potential failures before they occur.
  • Physical Inspections: Conduct routine checks on cables and connections to maximize the lifespan of the charging infrastructure.

Requirements

  • Industry Experience: Minimum 1 year of professional experience in the EV Charging (E‑Mobility) or Power Electronics industry, with a focus on field service, technical support, or commissioning.
  • Technical Expertise: Strong proficiency in diagnosing malfunctions and performing hardware replacements for EV charging stations and/or Solar Inverters.
  • Sector Knowledge: Demonstrated expertise or strong interest in renewable energy technologies, specifically Photovoltaic (PV) systems, Data Center Power (DCF), and Electric Mobility infrastructure.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent analytical and problem‑solving abilities. You must be highly organized, capable of managing cross‑project tasks, and able to communicate effectively with stakeholders and installation partners.
  • Language Requirements: Good command of English and fluent in Italian.
