Your role We are looking for a

EHS Wearable - Electric, Electronics, Equipment, Products Manager

who will partner with Business Unit EHS Managers, R&D, Quality and Compliance, EPR, Sourcing and Procurement, Legal, Logistics, Aftersales, Operation and Retail Leadership to develop and implement EHS policies, procedures and standards globally following the specific Business Organization.

Main responsibilities:

Partecipate in the Stage and Gate process lead by Quality and Compliance for new EEE (Electronic, Electric, Equipment) product launch to ensure early identification of potential EHS challenges and advise accordingly.

Partecipate in new market expansion approval process (new countries) for EEE products to ensure early identification of potential EHS challenges and advise accordingly.

Develop training material for all employees involved to assure understanding of EHS programs and mandatory requirements in partnership with Quality and Compliance.

Develop and communicate to Regions and or Country within the business (Retail, Wholesale, Instruments):

mandatory training requirements for specific job role (shipping) in partnership with Quality and Compliance

mandatory procedure/instruction to return electric and electronic products in line with legal requirements in partnership with Logistics and Aftersales.

Develop and implement procedure and process to ensure waste from electric and electronic equipment (WEEE) management in accordance with legal requirements from Retail / Wholesale locations globally, cooperating with external partners and in partnership with Regional Business organizations.

Define the EHS mandatory requirements within contracts with vendors / suppliers involved on electric and electronic products services, in partnership with Legal and Sourcing and Procurement.

Ensure EHS compliance in the production processes of electrical and electronic products including internal and/or external processes in partnership with Operation Managers and Regional EHS Leaders

Support the Business Unit EHS Managers in the implementation of the established requirements.

Ensure compliance with statutory requirements and work with Business Leadership team and BU EHS Managers to identify and manage risks.

Support the locations on regulatory agency inspections, inquiries, contacts, and reporting in accordance with corporate and regulatory requirements.

Perform Internal EHS Audits to different business / processes / flows.

Define mandatory periodical EHS assessments and inspections check list / requirements and verify periodically the completion and reported non-compliance.

Define guidelines to ensure proper emergency response preparation, including emergency plans, training and drills.

Communicate effectively to all levels, the progress and trends towards achieving excellence in EHS compliance.

Main requirements:

At least 5 years of experience in EHS related roles

Degree in a relevant EHS discipline

Knowledge of hazard identification, risk assessment, and incident investigation methodologies

Fluent in English written and spoken

Experience in developing, maintaining and implementing written EHS programs and processes, tools, and materials

Availability to travel

Work and respond to business critical needs

Ability to work in group and influence others

Salary Package:

Performance Bonus: An additional Management by Objectives (MBO) bonus as percentage of the annual gross salary.
