Position Summary:

We are a seeking for a Health, Safety & Enviromental Process Technician. For us the quality of our products is one of the key of our success, so if you are passionate about quality and look for the best regulations to perform our products, this position is for you!


Key Responsibilities:

The aim of the position is to evaluate the documents from different suppliers and create the necessary documentation for Carboline Europe. This position is reporting to the European Director of Product Support.


Part of the tasks will be :

  • Evaluation and control of Safety Data Sheet (SDS) of raw materials from suppliers in compliance with regulation REACH and CLP.
  • Processing of SDS, labels and customer reporting for Carboline of finished products in Europe and for export/import in GHS (globally harmonized system) and handle the labels
  • Storage/database of all technical documentation
  • European notification at Poison Center Notification (PCN)
  • Work closely with our Software Implementation Team in the US to improve our system by the UE regulations.
  • Follow up and monitor the regulatory updates and chemical inventories.
  • Make the declaration for customers supporting the sales.


What you need to succeed in the position :

  • Minimun 3-5 years experiences in Regulatory and Safety Data Sheet positions, QEHS systems and working with hazardous materials in chemical companies.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Chemical Science in the environment.
  • Knowledge of the main regulations: REACH, CLP, GHS and compliance with environmental legislation
  • Advance/Fluent level of English is mandatory.
  • Experience in drafting Safety Data Sheets through software.
  • Ability to work autonomously.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills. Team player!
  • Good computer skills and in particular of Office package.
  • Knowledge of ADR legislation (plus).
