EHS Site Leader/RSPP (Manufacturing Plant)

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced EHS professional to lead all the EHS activities according to GE and Italy requirements in our manufacturing plant in Milan (150 employees and 3 production lines). Responsibilities

Act as the appointed RSPP (Responsabile del Servizio di Prevenzione e Protezione) under Italian D.Lgs. 81/08, providing expert advice to site leadership and ensuring full compliance with local and GEV corporate standards. Liaise with other functions to ensure proper focus on EHS including E&C. Adequately ensure EHS Risk Assessments are effective, updated, and communicated (including on E&C sites). Monitor applicable EHS regulations and ensure Unit’s compliance with local regulations (country/state). Participate in work council meetings with employees/other governing bodies in accordance with local regulations. Identify EHS training needs for the Unit in coordination with HR & Managers. Train, coach, or secure the training and coaching of action leaders, sponsors and management teams. Plan Safety visits (Gemba walks) for management teams (including on E&C sites) and follow‑up observations. Deploy and implement digital tools (GEOS, E-Andon, e-obeya…) and support Brilliant factory initiatives. Maintain and continuously improve the site's EHS Management System in accordance with ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 standards. Lead EHS audits (Governance, insurance, machines conformity, etc.). Report progress of EHS improvement actions. Prepare operational budgets to fund EHS annual activities. Required Qualifications

Full compliance with the requirements for the RSPP role (D.Lgs. 81/08, Modules A, B, C). Proven experience in managing Italian EHS regulatory obligations (e.g., INAIL, ATS/ASL, ARPA, Fire Dept/VVF). Proven track record in managing ISO certifications and EHS internal/external audits. Similar experience in an Italian manufacturing site is a "must" due to the need to comply with Italian EHS rules and regulations. Fluent in Italian and English. Desired Characteristics

Position:

EHS Site Leader/RSPP (Manufacturing Plant) Salary Range:

€58,400.00 – €87,600.00 gross per annum. Bonus Plan:

Variable‑AIP annual bonus plan providing a target incentive of 15% of the individual’s annual base salary, dependent on key business metrics and performance. Weekly Hours:

38.5 weekly hours for white collars and non‑shift blue collars; 38 hours for shift blue collars. Paid Time Off:

(standard per CCNL). Benefits: Canteen access with employee contribution of €0.90 per meal; daily compensatory allowance of €3.50 if canteen services are unavailable. Annual credit of €250 for welfare (education, sports, travel, pension reimbursements) via dedicated portal. Accident insurance: 6× gross annual salary in case of death, 7× for permanent disability, and 1× for permanent disability due to illness (max €200,000). Life insurance: 2× gross annual salary. On‑call duty allowance: €35 per weekday, €60 on Saturday, €100 on Sunday or public holiday. Relocation assistance: available upon request.
