Vernay Italia is seeking for an EHS Manager and RSPP for its location in Asti.

This role is responsible for overseeing the Environmental, Health and Safety performance in the local organization and for developing, implementing and monitoring environmental and safety strategies that promote sustainable development, improvement to guarantee a safe place to work, while supporting the policies and objectives of the company.


Primary Responsibilities:

  • Implementing environmental policies and practices according to D.lgs. 152/06;
  • Developing schemes for recycling, pollution reduction and pollution prevention;
  • Ensuring compliance with environmental legislation and maintaining ISO 14001 Certification;
  • Providing environmental and safety training to staff at all levels;
  • Keeping up to date with changes in environmental legislation and initiatives including EU directives;
  • Coordinate ISO 45001 certification, sustain activities and continuous improvement;
  • Develop, implement and monitor Health and Safety Policy, Programs, and Procedures according to D.lgs. 81/08;
  • Draw up the Home-Work Travel Plan (PSCL) of the company's employees, reducing the use of individual private transport and a better organization of schedules to limit traffic congestion;
  • Fill the role of RSPP;
  • Monitor and implement sustainability activities and draw up the internal sustainability report annually
  • Maintain EcoVadis Certification


Work location: Asti


Education, Experience, and Skills Required:

  • 5 years of expertise in the field;
  • Confidence, initiative, awareness and excellent organizational, negotiation, team-working, presentation, project management and communication skills;
  • Master’s degree in engineering (Environmental or similar);
  • Specific RSPP certification module A-B-C;
  • Commitment to health and safety, good communication and people skill, honesty and impartiality and ability to handle confidential information.
  • Language: English is a must
