Overview
In this role you will lead EHS due diligence and compliance assessments for private equity, corporate, and financial clients, helping identify and quantify environmental and health & safety risks across multiple sectors. You’ll collaborate with project managers and cross-functional teams to deliver audits, regulatory reviews, and advisory support throughout the M&A lifecycle. Your work informs client decisions and supports sustainable, compliant operations. Conduct Environmental, Health & Safety Due Diligence assessments for mergers, acquisitions, divestments and financing transactions Perform EHS compliance audits and site assessments across diverse facilities Review environmental permitting and regulatory obligations and management systems Evaluate occupational health & safety programs, risk assessments, contractor management, and related docs Identify, quantify, and prioritize EHS risks and improvement opportunities Prepare technical reports, proposals, and client deliverables in Italian and English Participate in site visits, client meetings, and interactions with external stakeholders Contribute to team development and support business development activities Support transaction advisory services throughout the M&A lifecycle Collaborate with engineers, geologists, environmental scientists, and other specialists on projects Qualifications
Master's degree in a relevant discipline At least 5 years of experience in EHS consulting, compliance, auditing, or related advisory services Proven experience conducting EHS compliance audits and site assessments Strong knowledge of Italian environmental and occupational health & safety legislation (Legislative Decree 152/2006 and 81/2008) Experience supporting EHS Due Diligence in M&A or investment contexts Strong analytical, reporting, and project execution skills Excellent communication with clients and multidisciplinary stakeholders Fluency in Italian and English (speaking and writing) Benefits
