Description
As our new Editor, you'll be responsible for shaping and delivering high-quality editorial content across a newsletter-driven publishing platform. Alongside writing and editing articles, you will play a key role in structuring and maintaining the architecture of the newsletter platform, helping to define how content is organized, presented, and experienced by readers.

- Oversee the development and maintenance of newsletter content structure, including sections, rubrics, and formats, ensuring consistency, clarity, and alignment with audience needs and editorial strategy.
- Plan and organize editorial output across daily news, features, and in‑depth content, contributing to the overall content calendar and supporting the strategic distribution of topics.
- Review and refine content produced by other contributors, ensuring accuracy, tone of voice consistency, and adherence to quality standards before publication.
- Provide ongoing operational and editorial support to the newsroom, acting as a flexible resource for ad‑hoc needs related to both newsletter production and broader content and production activities across the organization.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional production teams when required, supporting integrated content needs across different platforms and ensuring editorial alignment and consistency.
- Exercise editorial judgment and autonomy in content creation and selection, operating within the editorial guidelines and strategic direction defined by the line manager.
What You’ll Bring:
- Qualified journalist holding a valid professional press card (or equivalent accreditation), with a strong foundation in journalistic practice and editorial standards.
- Proven professional experience in newsroom environments, press offices, or communication departments, ideally within fast‑paced media or digital publishing contexts.
- Solid understanding of editorial production processes, with experience in writing, editing, and reviewing content for digital platforms and news‑driven formats.
- Familiarity with CMS platforms and editorial tools is considered a strong advantage, along with proficiency in standard digital editing and collaborative writing tools.
- Strong ability to work under pressure and manage tight deadlines, ensuring consistent delivery of high‑quality content in a fast‑moving editorial environment.
- Excellent editorial precision and attention to detail, combined with the ability to work quickly without compromising accuracy or tone of voice.
- High level of autonomy and sound editorial judgment, with the ability to make informed decisions within defined guidelines and priorities.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to manage multiple content streams simultaneously while maintaining structure and efficiency.
- Effective team player with strong communication skills, capable of collaborating within a newsroom and contributing to a shared editorial workflow.
