We are looking for a Ecotoxicology G&P Assistant to work in the PLANTS Unit.

Retribuzione annua: 28000€ - 34000€

Requirements:

  • Excellent knowledge of English (at least C1 level);
  • Previous experience in environmental science, ecotoxicology, project management;
  • Degree in biology, environmental science and/or related areas;
  • Behavioural competencies: working with others, analysis and problem solving, drive for results, good level of autonomy.

Assignment: initial contract of 3 months, with possibility of extension. Expected duration of assignment: 12 months.

Salary: approx. €2259 month before taxes.

Work modalities: office work is required on at least 2 days per week. Remote work is possible within 2 hours from EFSA's premises in Parma, Italy, for the remaining days.

The interim will:

  • Support the team in the preparation and launch of new grants and procurement (G&P);
  • Perform main tasks related to data collection, data analysis in the area of ecotoxicology and environmental risk assessment of pesticides as preparatory work;
  • Gain relevant experience for new G&Ps;
  • Perform activities related to ecotoxicology study evaluation;
  • Contribute to the management and support of existing multiannual contracts;
  • Provide support for complex mandates on the revision of terrestrial ecotoxicity guidance and the development of an approach for indirect effects.
