PROFILE

  • Graduated with a Master of Engineering or Computer Science.
  • Significant experience in hardware development, especially in thermal engineering.
  • True team‑player who loves working in a multidisciplinary environment.
  • Clear about organisational goals and strategies, demonstrating an actual customer‑oriented mindset.
  • Very rigorous and analytical, logically examining steps taken and outcomes to make corrections and produce better results.

COMPETENCIES

  • Strong technical background in mathematics, science and computer science, with great knowledge of thermal laws, norms and standards.
  • Master of thermal technology and associated control components (HP, MLIs, radiators, coatings, thermal interface materials, and passive EEE parts such as heaters and thermistors), tools, methods and processes: Ansys Icepak, Ansys Fluent, Mentor Flotherm.
  • Experience with thermal models, junction temperature, thermal resistance, electronics cooling.
  • Thermal tests: temperature, humidity, salt fog, pressure tests.
  • Excellent problem‑solving and decision‑making skills, approaching complex issues with curiosity and determination.
  • Ability to multitask, handling several projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.

LIFE AS A THALES THERMAL ENGINEERING ROLE

  • Perform a subset of all the hardware engineering activities applicable to thermal engineering.
  • Analyse and define thermal needs using advanced studies, simulations, mock‑ups, models, prototypes, etc.
  • Describe the thermal functions and requirements.
  • Formalise the thermal specification and architectural design to develop the hardware solution or product.
  • Identify critical development problems and assist in their resolution.
  • Write timely and technically accurate reports of technical findings.
  • Participate in thermal testing activities and correlate analysis and test results.
  • Validate thermal compliance of systems and components with regards to the Group’s standards.
  • Design and develop effective cooling systems for reliable operations and identify new ideas to improve designs.
