SMS group is looking for a Drives & Power Expert for our Center of Excellence Automation, Digital & Service Solutions
Main Responsibilities
- Design and order handling of MV and LV drive systems, preferably for metallurgical plants;
- Design and order handling of MV and LV drive systems (400 V, 690 V up to 6 kV) and main motors, familiar with main suppliers on the market such as ABB, Siemens or similar;
- Designing and sizing capabilities of soft starters and/or direct starts (DOL) of the motors as well as switches or fuses to protect the various electrical users will be a plus;
- Experience in revamping drive systems. Ability to draft technical specifications. Experience in executing quality and acceptance tests at suppliers;
Requirements
- Degree in Electronic Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or similar;
- Analytical competence and ability to work in a team;
- Experience and demonstrated skills in Services, with a sales proactive attitude will be very much appreciated;
- MV experience will be a plus; Interest in a MV power is preferable;
- Very good English language skills;
- Willingness to travel worldwide.
