Company Description
Terry Soot Management Group (TSMG) is a field data collection company founded in 2017 in Europe. We collect data where automation is not possible. Our services include counting features, taking pictures, making videos, recording speech, and scanning areas to support informed decision-making. Our field data collection teams are based across Europe and North America, ready for new challenges.
Project Overview
This project involves collecting high-quality visuals of streets, points of interest, and public spaces across EU countries. Using vehicles equipped with removable 360° cameras and lidar sensors, drivers will capture comprehensive environmental images. Data will be stored on onboard SSD drives and used to enhance a leading online mapping platform.
Data collectors will follow pre-assigned routes focusing on public streets, commercial areas, and points of interest. Some areas may require revisits under favorable weather conditions to ensure image quality.
The project duration varies by area, typically lasting 3 to 6 months.
Work Schedule
Full-time engagement during standard business hours (8 AM - 7 PM).
Recruitment Process
Includes a safety driving test, interview with a recruiter, and onboarding.
Ideal Candidate
- Holds a valid EU driver’s license
- Has a clean criminal and driving record background check
- At least 5 years of driving experience
- Professional driving experience (e.g., taxi, delivery, logistics)
- Proficient in English and the local language
- Tech-savvy with experience using GSuite tools
- Basic vehicle mechanics knowledge
- Responsible, reliable, and professional
- Enjoys traveling and exploring new places
- Familiar with the operational area
