Distribution Sales Key Account Manager

Responsible for managing and growing sales through assigned distributors across Europe, focusing on expanding business in non-automotive markets.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for the assigned account across Europe, acting as the Voice of the Customer within Aptiv and ensuring customer needs are represented and addressed
  • Work closely within and with the Aptiv organization to promote CS products through assigned distributors
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with distributor stakeholders to ensure alignment on growth objectives and create a proper network up to executive levels
  • Develop and execute strategic plans to increase market share and penetration
  • Drive revenue growth in non-automotive segments in line with team goals
  • Support creation of annual sales plans and forecasts, aligned with Aptiv defined KPIs
  • Monitor performance against targets and implement corrective actions when needed
  • Support pricing strategies and negotiate commercial terms to maximize profitability
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and margin objectives
  • Track sales performance, market trends, and competitor activities
  • Prepare regular reports and present insights to management
  • Work closely with all Aptiv departments (marketing, operations, customer service, finance, etc.) to achieve operational and strategic objectives

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in sales/account management within the electronic connector industry
  • Strong understanding of distribution channel dynamics and European market landscapeAbility to develop strategic relationships and influence at multiple levelsExcellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skillsFluent in Italian & English, German is optionalWillingness to travel across Europe as required
