RINA is currently recruiting for a Direttore Lavori - Infrastrutture Civili to join its office in Genoa, Italy within the Civil Engineering Division.

Mission

We are looking for a Principal Construction Manager with strong field experience to oversee major civil infrastructure construction sites, ensuring quality delivery, safety compliance, schedule adherence, and budget control while coordinating contractors, suppliers, and stakeholders.

Key Accountabilities

  • Supervise all site activities ensuring compliance with design specifications, regulations, and quality standards.
  • Manage progress tracking, technical issues, changes, and claims; monitor costs, timelines, and safety while maintaining clear communication with clients and engineering teams.
  • Availability for frequent travel and consistent on-site presence is required.

Education

Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
  • At least 8-10 years of proven experience in construction supervision or management of major infrastructure projects.
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, safety regulations, and cost control. Professional engineering licenses or construction management certifications are considered a plus.
  • Strong results orientation, and sound decision‑making skills.
  • Comfortable operating in complex, multidisciplinary, high‑responsibility environments.
