About the role
As Director of Professional Services for Italy & Spain, you will lead onboarding and activation teams integral to Agicap’s customer journey.
Your mission: Ensure every client—from fast-scaling SMBs to complex Key Accounts—has a quick, smooth, and impactful start with Agicap. You will manage a team of approximately 30 professionals across three core functions, collaborating closely with Sales, Product, and Account Management to drive activation, satisfaction, and long-term value.
Team Management:
- Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing team focused on user integration and training
- Set performance goals and conduct reviews to meet objectives
- Foster a collaborative, innovative, and positive team culture
Client Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients to understand their needs and ensure their success
- Handle escalated integration and training issues promptly
- Conduct post-implementation reviews to gauge satisfaction and identify further engagement opportunities
- Participate in local awareness events (webinars, physical events) to promote Agicap’s brand
Processes and Frameworks:
- Implement effective data integration strategies, leveraging our SSC in Lisbon to ensure smooth onboarding
- Contribute to training programs led by the CS Enablement team to maximize tool adoption
- Standardize scripts, processes, tools, and routines to enhance team performance
Cross-Department Collaboration:
- Work with the product team to relay user feedback for product improvements
- Coordinate with sales to ensure seamless client onboarding from sales to implementation
- Partner with support to resolve user issues and improve satisfaction
- Ensure smooth handovers to the Account Management team for renewals and expansion opportunities
Performance Management:
- Manage key departmental metrics such as:
- Activation (onboarding time, post-onboarding activity, product usage)
- Customer satisfaction (NPS)
- Revenue metrics (GRR, upsell and cross-sell opportunities)
Qualifications:
- Native or fluent in Italian and English
- Based in Milan or willing to relocate
- Hybrid work model: minimum 4 days/week in the office
- At least 7 years of professional experience
- 3-4 years in Professional Services, Customer Success, or Implementation projects in B2B software or IT/Digital consulting
- Management experience leading teams of 8-10 or more, with multiple reporting lines
- Experience in mid-market treasury or complex financial software (e.g., ERP) is a plus
