Director of Strategic Accounts

As a Director of Strategic Accounts (DSA) on the Tanium field sales team, you will be responsible for generating opportunities to position the Tanium platform within an assigned territory and/or accounts. You should be comfortable engaging with CIOs, CISOs, VPs of Operations, and technical teams, discussing both business benefits and technical details. The successful DSA delivers a superior customer experience by tailoring technology solutions to customer needs and exceeding sales quotas.
- What you'll do
- Articulate the value of the Tanium platform to decision makers and manage the complex sales cycle
- Nurture and develop relationships within the assigned territory and/or accounts, presenting to C-suite executives the value of the Tanium platform
- Collaborate with Partner and Marketing teams to support prospecting and sales efforts within your territory and/or accounts
- Generate sales development activities to maintain a healthy sales pipeline
- Accurately forecast sales and maintain excellent SFDC hygiene
- Conduct online webinars or in-person presentations to generate qualified leads
- Travel as needed
- We're looking for someone with
- Significant enterprise software sales experience, particularly in closing large and complex transactions with major clients
- A strong team mentality; selling at Tanium involves managing and leveraging virtual resources for large and complex sales cycles
- A proven track record of exceeding quotas
- Experience engaging with and presenting to C-suite level contacts
- Experience building and cultivating partner ecosystems to adopt a partner-centric go-to-market approach
- The ability to evangelize and develop new business opportunities within an assigned territory and/or accounts
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
