Position Overview
Full‑time Director of Rehabilitation (DOR) opportunity in Genoa, Nebraska. Must be PTHospital, 70% outpatient and 30% inpatient setting. Salary range $95,000–$115,000, depending on experience, plus a flexible 12‑month career bonus up to $12,000. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Provide orientation, supervision and evaluation of new staff, volunteers, and students. Ensure appropriate staffing levels and staff mix to achieve department/clinic efficiency and goals. Manage department/clinic budget to expectations. Develop and appropriately document quality reporting, quality assurance and records. Complete RehabVisions and facility‑specific reports as required. Implement plans of correction to address staff and/or department deficiencies. Explore, recommend, and develop new market opportunities and programs. Attend management and department meetings and conferences; conduct staff meetings and educational programs as appropriate. Oversee and/or prepare therapy documentation audits and other required compliance audits. Assist the accounting/billing team with authorizations, insurance claims, denials to secure reimbursement. Comply with discipline‑specific job description for essential duties when providing patient/client care. Complete necessary documentation in accordance with state and RehabVisions guidelines. Consult with other members of the rehabilitation team to select treatment programs consistent with patient/client needs. Develop treatment protocols and procedures using evidence‑based guidelines. Respond in a timely manner to referrals and develop effective rapport with referring practitioners. Present a positive, service‑oriented approach with patients, family, and staff. Facilitate employee training in compliance, communication, and clinical quality. Assist with equipment maintenance scheduling and monitor supply inventory. Demonstrate commitment to reducing costs and improving productivity. Oversee scheduling of therapists and patients for maximum efficiencies. Maintain rapport with administrators, therapy staff, and the healthcare team. Understand and comply with RehabVisions policies and procedures. Direct patients to appropriate accounting/billing staff when necessary. Facilitate new insurance provider agreements and renewals. Ensure employees follow provider agreements and credentialing requirements. Supervisory Responsibilities
Interview, hire, and train employees. Plan, assign, and direct work; appraise performance; award and discipline employees. Address complaints and resolve problems. Educational and Experience Requirements
Bachelor’s (BA, BS), Master’s (MA, MS), or Doctorate (DPT) degree in Physical Therapy. Prefer five years of discipline‑specific therapy experience, including director/manager experience. Prefer experience managing multidisciplinary departments or clinics. Benefits
