Epassi’s purpose is to boost the everyday well-being. We are a leading provider of employee benefit solutions in Finland, Sweden, UK & Ireland, Italy, Germany, and the Netherlands. Epassi was established in Finland in 2007, and in 2008 we were the first company to launch a mobile-payable employee benefit payment solution in Europe. We have grown and expanded our products and markets, and have been recognized by the Financial Times as one of the fastest-growing companies in Europe.

We are looking for a Director of Product Management to lead and shape the vision, strategy, and execution of complex, high-impact products within our organization. In this role, you will oversee one or more significant product areas and guide cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions that meet user needs and business objectives. You will engage with executives, senior leadership, and partners across Sales, Business Development, Marketing, Legal, and other stakeholders to define, articulate, and execute the product strategy. This is an opportunity to influence product direction at scale and deliver meaningful impact to our users and the company.

Key Responsibilities

  • Product Strategy & Vision: Define & Own Product Strategy. Establish a compelling vision for the product(s) and communicate it effectively to internal teams and external stakeholders.
  • Innovation & Ideation: Drive new ideas, business models, and product segments. Champion experimentation, user research, and industry insights to differentiate and stay competitive.
  • Roadmap: Collaborate with leaders within the broader Product Area to align on long-term strategic initiatives and ensure roadmaps support company goals.
  • Product Execution: End-to-End Lifecycle Management. Lead product teams through ideation, development, launch, and growth; ensure timely delivery and high-quality standards.
  • Process Development & Optimization: Implement and refine processes that enable fast, high-quality decision-making; remove blockers and foster cross-functional collaboration.
  • Organizational Leadership: Build, mentor, and manage a team of Product Managers (and potentially other ICs) responsible for sub-products or areas; provide feedback, growth opportunities, and career development.
  • Cross-Functional Coordination: Forge strong relationships with Engineering, Marketing, Legal, Sales, Business Development, and other teams; foster collaboration and shared goals.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Communicate product vision, progress, and priorities across senior leadership; secure alignment and buy-in for critical product decisions.
  • Technical Complexity & Collaboration: Work with engineering teams to understand trade-offs, influence architecture, and shape long-term technology strategy.
  • Complex Problem Solving: Tackle highly ambiguous problems and develop creative solutions that may involve new technologies, pivots, or large-scale integrations.
  • Communication: Present product ideas, roadmaps, and vision clearly to motivate internal teams and external audiences; tailor messaging to audience.
  • Thought Leadership: Represent the product and company at conferences, industry events, and with partner executives.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field (or equivalent practical experience).
  • 8+ years of product management experience, including leading complex products or portfolios.
  • Proven track record of managing and mentoring teams of PMs.
  • Experience driving go-to-market strategies and collaborating with Sales, BD, Marketing, etc.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with ability to influence and align stakeholders at all levels.
  • Demonstrated experience with high-scale, complex products—especially in payments and ecommerce.
  • Fluent in Italian and English.
