PositionOverview

WeareseekinganexperiencedDirectorofPharmacytooverseeoperationsacrosstwoFQHCCommunityHealthCentersinOakland,CaliforniathatfocusonprovidinghealthservicestotheBIPOCcommunity.ServingasthePharmacist-in-Charge(PIC),thisrolecombinesleadership,operationaloversight,andadeepcommitmenttocommunityhealthcare.TheDirectorwillleadthePharmacy&Therapeutics(P&T)Committee,managethe340BDrugPricingProgram,andensurecompliancewithallfederalandstateregulationswhilementoringadedicatedteam.

TheFQHCCommunityHealthClinichasbeeninoperationforover20yearsandoffersMentalHealth,PrimaryCareMedical,PhysicalTherapy,&DentistryservicestotheBIPOCcommunity.

KeyResponsibilities

• Leadday-to-daypharmacyoperationsandmaintaincompliancewithCaliforniaBoardofPharmacyandHRSAstandards.
• ServeasPICforaudits,licensing,andqualityinitiatives.
• DirecttheP&TCommittee,ensuringsafeandeffectiveformularymanagement.
• Overseethe340BDrugPricingProgramwithfullHRSAcompliance.
• Mentorpharmacists,technicians,interns,andexterns.
• EnsurethepharmacyisinfullcompliancewithAlamedaCounty,ContraCostaCounty,CaliforniaandFederalregulations
• Manageprocurement,inventory,andmedicationstorage.
• Collaboratewithproviderstooptimizemedicationsafetyandcostefficiency.
• Supporteducationalandoutreachprogramswithinthecommunity.

Requirements:

• PharmDorBPharmfromanaccreditedinstitution.
• ActiveCaliforniaPharmacistlicense.
• Minimum5yearsofpharmacyexperience;FQHCexperiencepreferred.
• Proven340BProgrammanagement;priorPICexperiencepreferred.
• Strongleadershipandcommunicationskills.
• Spanish-speakingabilitypreferred.
