We are seeking a brilliant, results-driven Director of Houses to lead the strategic management of our prestigious portfolio of luxury houses. This high-level role requires a visionary leader with expertise in financial stewardship, operational excellence and team mentorship. The Director will take full ownership of budgets, P&L, and reporting, and will establish best-in-class procedures and standards that reflect the Bolza family’s heritage of luxury and sustainability. The ideal candidate will not be involved in daily operational tasks, which will be managed by a dedicated team of House Managers, Service Agents and Housekeeping; he/she will focus on higher-level strategic initiatives, mentoring this team, overseeing the overall performance, and ensuring that each house provides a remarkable experience for our house owners and guests. As the Reschio Brand Ambassador, the Director will lead with integrity, elevate the brand’s values of authenticity, and promote a refined, sustainable style in alignment with Reschio ’s long-term goals. This role involves an ability to shape the future of Reschio ’s operations while nurturing a collaborative, empowered environment for the team. The Director will work closely with the executive team and family Bolza to set and implement key operational strategies, maintain high performance standards, and finally preserve and enhance the value of our real estate investments.

Main duties and responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Reschio executive team to define long-term operational strategies, establishing clear goals for the management of our houses.
  • Develop, manage, and optimize budgets for house operations, ensuring alignment with financial goals while maintaining finest service standards.
  • Monitor financial performance, and lead cost control initiatives.
  • Oversee regular performance reviews, reporting key operational metrics, and assessing both financial and operational performance to identify opportunities for improvement and growth.
  • Lead, inspire and mentor the team of House Managers, Service Agents and Housekeeping to ensure exceptional service levels and observance to Reschio ’s values and standards. Create an environment where the team feels supported, motivated, and aligned with Reschio’ s vision.
  • Act as brand ambassador embodying the values of the Bolza family. Build and maintain trusted relationships with House Owners, ensuring their needs are met with the highest level of discretion and professionalism.
  • Design and implement strong operational procedures, best practices and service standards. Ensure consistency and quality across all houses, elevating the guest experience to the highest level of luxury and personalization.
  • Negotiate contracts and manage relationships with external suppliers and service providers, ensuring high-quality, cost-effective goods and services are delivered on time.
  • Ensure all houses comply with relevant health, safety, and legal regulations, maintaining a safe and sustainable environment for both guests and staff.

Skills and competencies required

  • Proven track record in luxury property management or high-end hospitality, with experience leading teams and managing multi-property operations.
  • Strong expertise in managing budgets, P&L, financial analysis and cost control, with a keen understanding of the financial dynamics in the luxury hospitality sector.
  • Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to mentor and guide managers and line team, fostering an atmosphere of accountability, growth, and collaboration.
  • Strong values of integrity and discretion, with the ability to handle confidential matters with extreme professionalism and privacy sensitivity.
  • Expertise in establishing and enforcing operational procedures and service standards that align with luxury expectations.
  • Outstanding communication skills, with the ability to engage with internal stakeholders, external vendors, and House Owners at the highest level.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, able to manage complex situations while maintaining calm and efficiency.
  • Fluent in English, with Italian as a native language.
  • Strong financial insight with experience managing budgets and controlling operational costs.
  • High-level proficiency in PMS (Protel knowledge is a plus), Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, etc.), and other operational tools (Alice, HotelKit, Hoxell).
