Director of Food & Beverage

Director of Food & Beverage is the architect of gastronomic excellence at Rosa Alpina. Reporting directly to the General Manager, this leader is responsible for the strategic vision, operational management, and constant innovation of all culinary outlets, bars, in‑room dining, and bespoke events.

The mission is to uphold and elevate Aman’s standards, seamlessly blending ultra‑luxury hospitality with the authentic soul of Ladin and Alpine culture.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute the F&B strategy to drive revenue and ensure sustainable profitability while strictly adhering to the Aman brand DNA.
  • Operational Excellence: Oversee daily operations across all outlets, ensuring every guest touchpoint is flawless, personalized, and reflects "understated luxury".
  • Talent Management: Recruit, mentor, and inspire a high‑performing, multicultural team. Foster a culture of empathetic, discreet, and intuitive service.
  • Quality Assurance: Maintain rigorous standards for food quality, presentation, and service. Ensure full compliance with health and safety regulations and luxury brand audits.
  • Culinary Collaboration: Work closely with the Executive Chef on menu development, prioritizing seasonal, local sourcing and sustainable practices.
  • Financial Stewardship: Manage budgets, P&L statements, inventory control, and labor costs to optimize the financial performance of the department.

Candidate Profile

  • Experience: 5–8 years of senior F&B management experience within ultra‑luxury hospitality (5‑star luxury resorts or iconic city hotels). Experience in Michelin‑starred environments is appreciated.
  • The "Aman" Mindset: A passion for holistic hospitality, an eye for detail, and the ability to anticipate guest needs before they are articulated.
  • Communication: Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to engage with a sophisticated, high‑net‑worth international clientele.
  • Languages: Fluency in English and Italian is essential.Leadership Style: A hands‑on leader who leads by example, staying composed and precise during the intensity of the winter and summer high seasons.
