DIRECTOR MSAT AND PROJECT MANAGEMENT

ABOUT THE ROLE

Reporting to the Global Head of MSAT and PM, the Director of MSAT and PM will be responsible for process development, installation, and validation of new equipment at Recipharm’s sites in Monheim and Zwickau.

This role will be part of the Site Leadership Team.

MAIN TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Support the "Lead to contract process" with technical feasibility according to global procedures.
2. Assist with technological problem solving and deviation investigations in commercial production, related to analytical testing methods or process execution.
3. Collaborate with Global MSAT and PM, Quality, and Commercial functions.
4. Manage the local MSAT team of engineers and scientists.
5. Lead interdisciplinary projects on both sites following Global Project Management procedures.
6. Provide regular project reports.
7. Manage project portfolios and align priorities within the Site Leadership Team.
8. Coordinate with the Commercial team for offer writing, TT / PD funnel S&OP, and resource planning.
9. Oversee the local Project Management teams at both Monheim and Zwickau sites.

EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS

1. Degree in Process, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering, or a comparable qualification.
2. Extensive experience leading large teams within a matrix organization.
3. Proven experience in modeling technical processes.
4. Experience with global PM and PMO functions.
5. Track record in continuous improvement and cost reduction projects.
6. Knowledge of applying inferential statistics to model manufacturing robustness.
7. Understanding of project management and development methodologies.

SKILLS & COMPETENCIES

1. Deep understanding of supply chain and production processes.
2. Expertise in SAP systems.
3. Advanced IT skills, especially in Microsoft Windows and Office.
4. Strong leadership, communication, and analytical skills.
5. Proactive team player with initiative.
6. Well-organized and structured.
7. Commercial acumen.
8. Knowledge of pharma-specific requirements, GMP compliance, and regulatory processes.
9. Innovative, process-oriented, and technically interested.
10. Analytical and strategic mindset with the ability to delve into details to solve operational challenges.
11. Fluent in English.

LOCATION & TRAVEL

The position is based at the Zwickau site or possibly at Monheim am Rhein, with hybrid working options. Some travel within the country and globally may be required.
