Overview

Wee been retained to lead the search for a senior corporate attorney who has experience in advising on private equity or private M&A deals and who is interested in moving into the M&A insurance market as a senior broker. The business operates in the premium space (£50m - £8bn) advising heavyweight private equity funds, buyers and sellers on warranty & indemnity insurance (W&I) policies for complex and multi-jurisdictional deals. We are looking to talk to a technically astute and commercial corporate attorney with appetite to move into a business-oriented role utilizing his or her legal skill-set. Attorneys will remain registered at the Bar.

Responsibilities

• Provide legal advisory on private equity and private M&A transactions with a focus on W&I insurance implications.
• Assist in structuring and negotiating deals, with emphasis on multi-jurisdictional considerations and complexity.
• Collaborate with the business team to operate in a broker-like capacity within the M&A insurance market.
• Leverage legal expertise to support commercial decision-making and risk assessment for heavyweight PE funds, buyers, and sellers.

Qualifications

• Senior corporate attorney with experience in private equity or private M&A deals.
• Interest in transitioning into a business-oriented role within the M&A insurance space as a senior broker.
• Attorneys will remain registered at the Bar.
