The Director Export – Lurisia IT leads the full international expansion, commercial execution, and operational rigor of the Lurisia business across priority global markets. The Lurisia business covers a premium portfolio renowned for natural mineral water sourced from the Western Alps and high-quality soft drinks made with authentic ingredients. Known for purity, the range includes sparkling lemonades (Limonata), Chinotto, and Aranciata Rossa, often using IGP-certified fruits for an authentic Mediterranean taste. This senior role is accountable for delivering sustainable volume, NSR, and EBIT growth through strong export operations, distributor leadership, regulatory compliance, and cross-functional coordination.

The role also acts as the central orchestrator between commercial, supply chain and external partners, ensuring best-in-class customer experience and flawless execution in-market.

What You'll Do for Us

1. Export Strategy & Market Expansion

  • Build and execute the strategic export business for Lurisia across priority geographies, ensuring alignment with growth ambitions and category dynamics.
  • Perform opportunity sizing, business case development, and prioritization of new markets and channels.
  • Drive visibility and brand positioning in international B2B environments, including participation in key trade shows for At home/AFH prospecting.

2. Commercial Leadership & Distributor Management

  • Lead relationships with distributors, importers, and bottlers across top markets, ensuring performance against volume, NSR, and profit targets.
  • Oversee end-to-end customer management, including commercial negotiations, annual contracts, complaints resolution, and ongoing queries.
  • Travel regularly to key markets to meet distributors, review performance, and drive in-market execution.

3. Operational Execution & Inventory Management

  • Oversee sales stock management, including the lease with CCH and the management of off-site KO lease properties used for export storage.
  • Ensure inventory accuracy and tight control of stock movements, availability, and ageing risk.
  • Collaborate with Supply Chain to ensure optimized export flows, logistics costs, and on-time fulfilment.

4. Production Partner Oversight

  • Act as the main point of contact for all production partners, including CCH.
  • Ensure production planning, quality standards, documentation, and shipment timelines are met.
  • Resolve operational issues and maintain high alignment on innovation.

5. Order-to-Cash & Commercial Operations

  • Oversee the order generation, validation, and payment cycle.
  • Manage post-sales customer service, including product recalls, claims, and payment issues, ensuring rapid and transparent resolution.
  • Lead clear and timely price communications to partners, including price increases, promotions, and discount policies.

6. Cross-Functional Leadership

  • Partner with Marketing to ensure global brand consistency, asset localization, and innovation strategy alignment.
  • Work closely with Finance on strong forecast cadence, P&L ownership, and investment decision-making.
  • Ensure full compliance with legal, regulatory, customs, and product standards across every export market.

Experience & Capabilities

  • 10+ years of progressive commercial experience in FMCG/CPG, with a minimum of 5 years in export or international markets.
  • Proven track record leading P&L driven business units or export territories.
  • Strong knowledge of commercial policies, international distribution models, customs processes, and regulatory frameworks.
  • Key Account management, particularly in international markets and with wholesalers.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex partnerships and negotiate senior level agreements.
  • Fluency in English and Italian; additional languages are an advantage.
